Cynthia Walker is an award winning Interior Designer and a graduate of the Parsons School of Design in New York City. Upon graduation, she began her career as lead designer with a boutique architectural firm in Manhattan. In 2007, Cynthia opened her eponymous firm, CLW Design, with offices in New York City and the Hamptons. After 10 years of practice, with projects across the US and Europe, Cynthia made the move to the Hamptons full time and, looking to merge her design aesthetic with a recognized local firm, joined Iris Zonlight and the team at Blue Ocean Design. Cynthia’s design philosophy is not defined by one style but is a judiciously chosen palette to reflect the past and present. Not big on following the rules about what works with what, she prefers finding meaningful affinities between disparate objects that result in calming edited interiors specific to each client.
Prior to entering the field of interior design, Cynthia worked in the fashion industry and is also a published author.
Michelle recently joined the Blue Ocean Design team after interning with the company. Born in Manhattan, raised and educated in Hungary, Michelle studied Interior Design and Marketing-Administration at Szamalk Technical College in Budapest.
